Does anyone know what the proper counter-sink depth is for joysticks on 3/4" plywood?

I routed out the bottom on 3/4 MDF so that the joy stick base was flush with the MDF.  The height of the stick is perfect.

I have a 3/4" CP with 1/8" lexan and routed out 1/4" for the joystick. So the CP over the joystick is 1/2" thick.
