Hey,

What's the current token status? I made an order on like the day the price discrepancy was discovered, yet I haven't gotten an email about it yet. And I got my coin mech working, now I want something to feed it other than quarters

How is it coming? (ok corn factor about to splooge here)...I am getting close to finishing my cab. I would like to crissen it with an official 2006 token when the time comes. Spoze that the original MAME will work too, but would rather it be the 2006.

Demand is slower than I had hoped. We are about 12 orders of 200 away from breaking even. I think if we leave it open for a few more weeks we will get there, but the volume is waaay down from last time. I guess my concerns last time about saturating the market were correct, just early.

I also think I made a tactical error by selling 100 lots from the get-go. I usually start with 200 lots then offer 100's later after demand has waned. I won't make that mistake next time.

Keep the faith, I think we can get there. Spread the word!

I've always planned on taking another 200 over my initial order. My arcade budget wasn't fat enough the week pre-orders opened up, and sadly it's not now either, but you can count on the order down the line.

Why not allow those that already ordered to up their order from 100->200 (only $15 more) or maybe even 200->300 to get them sooner? We would need only 24 people to add 100 tokens. Is this a possibility...or would it add to much confusion, Santoro?

I havent been around in a while, but on a whim went to the arcadetokens.com site to see if pre-orders were up \yet... needless to say I placed my pre-order. how is it looking for each of the metals? I hope things work out with this I love my tokens from the previous years, but if your having trouble making demand this time does that mean we are only geting one type?

Good news: the order is in, we ordered both Nickel and Brass.
Bad news: The mint is behind and it mght be 3 more weeks before I get the tokens.

The mint is driving me crazy.

I was supposed to have lead proofs in hand mid-last week, I just called for an update and they assured me that the proofs will be done tomorrow and they will overnight them to me so I will have them Thursday. Assuming they look OK and I say 'go,' they will take 5-7 business days to make. Add anther 2-3 for shipping so we are still two weeks away from the point where I will be in a position to start shipping.

I will scan/photograph the proofs and post it here as soon as I get them.

Thankfully we have purchased a highfalutin new coin counter so it is no longer a major family project to accurately count tens of thousands of tokens. We have also made dramatic improvements to how we pack and ship them. Instead of using newspaper and like 1/4 roll of clear packing tape, we will be rolling the tokens and putting them inside padded envelopes, and then putting that envelope inside whatever shipping package is required.

This should almost put an end to missing/delayed international token orders. We lost a few orders over the years and my theory is that the jingling attracted thieves/customs/etc.

The good news is that it won't take nearly as long to pack and ship as it has in the past. The bad news is that far-off customers won't be able to enjoy sections of my local small-town newspaper.

I truly do appreciate the patience of all you that put hard-earned money up for the tokens only to be asked to wait. It's almost over.
