Rom names vs Games in MAMEWah
« on: June 12, 2006, 04:56:45 pm »
Hey all I did a search to try to figure this out and over and over I found folks re directed to Screamings MAMEWah config editor. I click on it but it seems that it is gone. (???) So, my question is, how can I get the game names to appeare in the game name box? I have my listing option set to rom folder as I could not get MAMEWah to generate a list any other way.

if you do a search on the web for creating a dat file from mame, it will tell you the exact command to use, which will create a .dat file...then in your mame.ini file for mamewah, change the list method from rom_folder to rom_folder_vs_dat_file, then it should display the actual game name rather than the rom name
