YAY!! Australia defeated Japan 3-1 in the World Cup.  It's Aus first win in the cup and I got to watch it all while taking an extended lunch down at the pub.  Great stuff.  Hope all the aussies were also watching.

USA should've beaten Italy.  See that goal that was erased by that ---rectal-santizer--- referee?  Apparently that guy's had problems before, and has been suspended from refereeing before.  Figures we get that dick.
Wouldn't be surprised to see him get suspended again after dishing out 3 red cards.  (One, possibly both USA reds were harsh.  I could understand the first one, but the second one I thought should've been considered a regular foul.  Or maybe it was vice-versa.)

Can't believe Ghana beat the Czechs.  Wow.  2-0 to boot.  A freaking shutout.  We're still alive because of that!

Soccer is a fun sport to watch when you're just rooting for a team to lose.

Being in a sports bar with lots of drunks and cheap beer also makes the game more interesting.

Zidane was carrying the team and could have won it for the French, and the Italians knew it, so they got him to red card himself.

He's a hero in the soccer world even though he lost the world cup because the other boys were calling him names.

Soccer will always be gay.
