HUGE Monitor Problem . . .
« on: June 02, 2006, 03:29:43 pm »
I have a 19" Starlogic CRT monitor that was in great condition.  Two days ago I put it in the cocktail cabinet I'm building and all was well.  TOday I turned it on, and the colors are getting screwed up in huge splotches on the screen!  It looks like somebody is putting magnets to it!

I don't know what's happening and can't afford another monitor!  This is awful because I'm so close to finishing my machine.

EDIT: Degaussing fixed it!  Thank God!  There's still a tiny bit of discoloring in a small spot though.

I was hoping this was about a huge monitor with a problem, not a monitor with a huge problem.  oh well.  glad you were able to fix your problem.

I'd say! HUGE problem might be a bit of an overstatement! Glad you got it fixed.
