But I got a sparkle ball from these folks: www.paramountindustriesinc.com
The part number was: EPC-1020-Q and it was about a buck or two cheaper than Bob Roberts after shipping.  It isn't perfectly clear, more like clear but filled with glitter.  It has a nice effect when you light it up.
