Control Freak in WIRED mag

Look, I'm NOT saying this guy is Harpal, infamous in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum, but the picture they show immediately got my attention.

There's an article in WIRED magazine, June 2006 that highlights a guy who makes custom contol panels (really just 6 or 7 button  and one joy that plug into the computer via a cable) and charges up to $500 bucks for them.  I wish I could find the online article.  The guy just caught my eye as an infamous trick here.
His stuff looks nice, but $500?
Hey all you entrepreneurs, there's you chance.
