Stereo Sound On Street Figher II WW PCB
« on: May 17, 2006, 03:47:04 pm »
Just curious if anyone knows where the hookup is for stereo sound on the this PCB.  Sadly I have no schematics for it on hand.

Is it pinned to the jamma harness, or is it onboard?

I've looked at the pinout for it on CrazyKong's site, but it doesn't show it on the JAMMA harness.  So I'm guessing it's on board somewhere, but I just don't know :).

Thanks all :)

Appears that the speaker is on the JAMMA interface, pins L and 10.  Look at the instructions/manuals.  Not trying to sound like a jerk here.  Just being helpful. ;D

Not being a jerk at all :).

10 and L are the normal pins for a mono Jamma board.  Those are used, but only for one speaker (one pin is positive and one is negative).

Thanks for the try though, and I did look through the manual a bit and didn't find the answer.

Not that I know, but MAME shows it as mono, manual only shows only one speaker connection, and a really quick search said CPS1 games are mono.

Is there a reason you think it is stereo?

But your answer would explain why I was having such a hard time finding the hookup for it haha.

Thanks
