GensFE v2.11, wont run games in Mamewah....

Another Mamewah 1.61 upgrade hiccup.

GensFE ran fine in .97, now in 1.61 when I choose game, only blank emulator screen shows up.

Heres the ini file:

first off, {autodosbox} is only for mame. Also, it is not needed for the more recent versions of mame. For GENS try changing the dosbox/nodosbox and/or safelaunch/nosafelaunch settings.

Thanks for the reply john, but still no game.

I set the commandline format to:

commandline_format                        [name]{dosbox}{safelaunch}

Now the GENS emulator opens fine into fullscreen, but still no game loads. Do I have to modify the "[name]" portion in some way?

I would think so. You probably need to include the path. Something like so:

"[rompath]\[name].[romext]"
