Hey all, let me preface this by saying, I've been really busy with exams and haven't had a lot of time to play with these but I still want to ask my questions.
I got my LED-Wiz, 10 ICE buttons, 10 RGB drives, and the GGG Trackball. Everything has worked great out of the gate. I just kinda ghetto rigged up the trackball and it worked amazingly! I finally decided to procrastinate this weekend a little and hook up a few buttons and test the LEDs on the trackball. The LED-WIZ was easy to use at least for testing purposes and I was able to make all the colors pop up. (I haven't been able to change the intensity from 48 in their lumara control app but thats beside the point).
Moving on to the main point of this post, I was less that pleased by the ICE buttons. While they looked great with the room lights off, with the lights on they looked very milky white with a hint of the LED color. I don't really have excessive ambient light in the room. What puzzles me more was how fantastic trackball looked with or without the lights on. It really did amazing.
Am I doing something wrong with the LEDs? Is 48 the maximum intensity? Would the buttons look better with the lights on or off with a translucent button? I know this has been asked elsewhere but I haven't seen it explicitly answered. Finally, if the translucent microswitch buttons look better, where can you buy them? Happs doesn't seem to have them. Maybe I could just buy 1 to test!
Thanks all!
Nate
