Coin Doors
« on: April 29, 2006, 07:21:28 pm »
Hello Everyone,

From what I gather from reading some posts, I hear that you can usually pick up a decent coin door on Ebay for a fair price.  I have two sets of coin mechs coming from ArcadeNerd that will accept quarters & .984 tokens.

Do you have any advice for me in regards to what I should be looking for?  Are they all basically "universal" so I won't have to worry about hooking it up/etc?  I have yet to build my cab, so I'm not worried about what the dimensions of the coin door are.

Thanks for your help!

I was considering something like this too.  This might be a dumb question, but where do the quarters/tokens go in a setup like this?  With an over/under door, it makes sense to me that the money drops into the box below.  Are you suppose to make your own box w/ the coin door you linked to?  Am I missing something?
