jukebox mechanism
« on: April 25, 2006, 06:43:12 pm »
This is my first post here.  I am making a jukebox that is very similar to the seeberg smc3.  I will be using a computer with wincab to run it.  I have over a hundred records that I would like to put into it.  I was wondering if I could somehow make a mechanism to play the records so I wouldn't have to convert them all to mp3.  The records are 33's so I will have to have a large mechanism.  Is this possible or should I just convert them?  I am hoping to post a few pictures of the project but I have a very bad digital camera.

It is alot easier to convert your LPs to MP3 and play them on a PC then try to get a changer to play 33s.

There was never a jukebox that could play normal 33 records, only 45's and 78's.
