If you've burned out 4 PSU's of any kind you are not in any position to comment on anything.

Why should you take the word of someone who claims they're junk, yet couldn't restrain himself from buying four of them?  Isn't that similar to buying a bag of dog crap just because they told you it's on sale, so you got a good price on it?
