  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
Hi. I know this is an odd question but I'm terrible at guessing weight. I'm considering getting a four player t.m.n. turtles game. It would have to go up a narrow flight of stairs. I am wondering about how much it would weigh and how many guys it would take to move it.

Any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I would say about 300 - 400 pounds. Get a hand truck if you can. With two relatively strong guys you should be able to manage. Or, use four weak, skinny, girlie-men...

At least 350 pounds. Get a handtruck with stairclimbing belts above the wheels to make things easier. You'll need a minimum of two guys for sure but try to get three.

One thing that helps is to take that damn control panel box assembly off the cabinet so it lightens up the cabinet and makes it easier to turn corners.

Be sure to buy your helps several rounds of beer afterwords.

African or European.........  I am not sure....   Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Nice one.

I am surprised no one pointed out the obvious, I am sure you already checked, weight is one issue, but when you said four player cab and narrow stairs, I am a little concerned.

Make sure it will even fit before you wedge it up in there.

remove anything you can from it.  the monitor and cp defs and have two people on the bottom with someone pulling the cab with the handtruck.

Just a word of caution: It is  :censored: hard to put the monitor back in a Konami cabine if it is mounted on a shelf...
