Enable/disable controlls by software?
« on: April 02, 2006, 12:20:15 am »
I am thinking of revising my plans to include a frankenpanel with a spinner and trackball.

Thing is because of size there is a very good chance that they would get bumped during game play.

If I was to use a seperate mousehack for each, or else an optipac is there any way of disabling/enabling them (like in device manager) from the front end or a batch file that runs the emulator?

Was thinking that it could be hooked up to the logic behind the hack that does the control illumination so that it would disable the device rather then just simply turning the lights off, but I would rather have a software solution then have to hack into the optics of the thing to disable it.
