« on: March 25, 2006, 01:08:48 am »
right now my CP is cut out for ulrimarc t-mag and one of hole (center of hole) is just under 3 inches from one of holes for trackball mount.

see i might buy p360 sometime in the future when i have money

so that's why i need measure of p360 so if i want to change joystick in the future it will fit in tight space.

I think all of the happs bases are the same. So if you can find  either a super or comp measurement you should be strait.

It will not fit,but you could always drill the hole pattern in the base of the 360.

The p360 base is a standard 3'' by 3.5'' same as most joysticks. There are some exceptions.

The pattern from the happ ultimate will work fine.LINK

The 360 I have measures 3.482" left to right and 2.985" up to down as it would sit in a control panel. In case it's relevant, it measures 0.305" thick.

This is the P360 mounting, actual size.... Print it at 72dpi... and yes it is the right way round.

you could mount a 360 the wrong way and just change the contacts.  see, it has contacts labeled up down left and right, but if you oriented the joystick the skinny way, you could just change left and right to up and down and vice versa.

Hey fozzy, are you sure thats the right way round? if I pushed up on mine with your template it would activate right or left.Mines 90 degrees rotated???

EDIT:you could be right fozzy,I think I remember undoing the four screws and turning it now ,so its easily altered.

bossyman if you follow the link that Quarters kindly posted, the outside holes are the exact size of the 360.There are no inside holes on the 360 like other Happ bases which is why it wont fit your pattern but like I said earlier you could drill your own.

Just checked and you can rotate it so you can have it either way but it is sent like your template.

I already supplied the measurements above from my 360. I used my micrometers, which are accurate to 0.001". Based on those measurements and those supplied by others, I would rely on 3.5" x 3".

If you want the contacts to be correct (left is left, etc.) then you have to mount it "sideways" with the contacts to the right. You could mount it any way you want, just be aware you have to switch your connections to compensate...

not true....if you undo the four screws on the base you can turn the sensors 90 degress to match up.It's really easy to do.

When you print it just tell your printer to print at 72dpi.....  ::)  In you printers properties screen.

Either that or load it up in something like photoshop if you have it and resize it to 300dpi while keeping the actual dimensions.
