My whole family is hooked on it. We bumped into it by accident once. Been playing regularly for over a year.

The two player, head-to-head version is the one we play (Puzz Loop 2). You can set a handycap so it's good for play with children.

I play with 8-way sticks, but I think you can play with a spinner which I imagine is way better.

There's another similar game who's name escapes me at the moment. You fire a cannon from the bottom of the screen. Similar to Puzz Loop and just as addictive and challenging.

My wife and I love the game also.

There is another game, Puzli ? or something like that where you drop fish into the water and that is also very fun.

Yep love it, but a bit un-controlable with a joystick. Need to wait for my new CP to play it with spinner.

For now, our favorite remains Puzzle Bobble (my wife actualy plays it a lot !)

Yep! I found it too! I play with joystick right now also...waiting to build my cab so I can get some spinner action going on it. I have found several games recently that are fun. Joe and Mac returns is another...frustrating and addictive...but mostly just fun.

puzzloop is the name of the rom...I actually play puzloopu (the U.S. version).
I have a link to it, but I do not know the protocol of posting such links here.

How do you do this exactly?  I found no dipswitch and I can't seem to get the game into service mode (pressing F2 does nothing).  I'd love to try this with my spinner, but never figured it out.

dip switches in the tab menu, turn on service mode.

Puzz Loop is the game that gets by far the most attention of anything on my box.  I have two spinners and this game is absolute greatness.

Also, it is the only game my fiancee actually gets into.  She has the high score of almost 125,000 in Panic Mode and she kicks ---my bottom--- quite frequently in versus.  Now she actually plays the box on her own, whereas before she seemed ready to chuck it into the garbage.

Needless to say, I am in awe.  BTW, what is Puzz Loop 2?  I'm running .87 version of our favorite emu.  Is this one of the new supported games?  No idea what Zuma is, either, I probably should just search.  Sooooo lazy on Spring Break. :)

Cheers,
KenToad

It was only one of the most popular "casual games" for PC (almost as popular as Bejeweled)

Sorry to be dull here, but what do you do after setting service mode to yes?  I tried that already and still nothing, even after resetting the game.

Some games, service mode comes up as soon as you set the switch. Others, you must then hit Reset (F3)

Do you mean that you aren't going into service mode or that you can't find the option to change the control method to spinner?

Also, some games you have to reset to get into service mode and some games you have to just tab out of the config and they will go into it, if I remember correctly.

I'm sure I can check very quickly how exactly Puzz Loop works if you're still having problems.

Cheers,
KenToad

Yes, I tried setting it to 'yes' and then resetting with F3 and it just restarts normally.  I also tried holding down F2 (which works for me in other games).  Is there a specific version I need to be using?  I'm trying the main parent rom (europe version).

Well I'll be damned.  I set it that time and then selected 'reset game' from the tab menu and it worked!  Thanks a bunch -- this is heaven with the spinner!

I just got it to work.  Tab to dip swith.  Service mode on.  Back to reset game and service mode came up.  Control type analog spinner and then tab again to turn off service mode.  Hold 1nad 2 player strat down to reset the game and leave service mode.

Fun game!  Great with a spinner.  Thanks for spinner info as I probably would of continued using the joystick to play.
