What did you do with the original PCB?

That'd be what I'd be interested in.

I had to toss it. I thought about saving it myself, but I didn't take care of it. Long story.

Was it ruined, or just tossed because it no longer fit in the case?

The 360 PCB from that thing would have been perfect for making your own arcade controls, because it is all digital, where as the regular controller has analog L & R triggers.

I messaged Zapatistab about it, but I read about someone on the shoryuken.net forums frying their doa4 stick's pcb trying to desolder the buttons.  I figured this is what happened.  I plan on doing a similar mod to a doa4 stick I'm getting from a friend so I bet I'll end up frying it's pcb.  But that's ok.  I have nearly no intention on hooking it up to an xbox360 anyway :).

I didn't fry the PCB. I cut the wrong wire, and couldn't save it for a later project.

I don't know if this has been attempted over at SRK, but if or when I get my hands on another DOA stick this is what I am going to attempt.......

I am going to de-solder the black stiff wire that bridges the PCB's together and rewire them with standard wire. This way I can move the PCB's out of the way and install the Sanwa Buttons without having to modify them. It will be time comsuming, but worth it.

I do this kind of stuff for fun, so I am open to any reasonable offers for the DOA stick I am selling.  ;)
