Tron settings in Mame.
« on: March 12, 2006, 07:20:23 pm »
Hi all,

I can't get my spinner (that's hooked up in Optipac) to work in Tron.  It works in every other game, Tempest, Arkanoid, etc.  Am I missing a step here? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have the mouse enabled for Tron?  If you are using command line MAME, then in the .ini it should say:   mouse 1  (not mouse 0)

If you are using Mame32, then you need to right-click on TRON in the GUI and make sure the MOUSE box is checked.

If you've done all that, and it still doesn't work, have you tried hitting the TAB key once Tron is running to map the controls?

Thanks, problem solved.   I had that mouse setting to zero. I set it back to mouse 1.  That didn't solve it totally.  Come to find out my optic board came loose, not reading the flywheel properly.  Tightened it back up, all better. Thanks for the response.
