Back in MY day we lived on the moon and we had to build a rocket ship from scratch to get to the Earth before we suffocated.

Do you open them?  i have currently unopened the enrgon unicron black, g1 reissue thundercracker, and an energon alpha quintesson though i have the orig optimus, the g2 megatron---must find orig that was banned on airplanes----fortress maximus though not complete, some constructicons and cup.

started getting back into it like 3 summers ago when suncoast was playing the movie and i was reborn.

i saw your custom one that you put up on ebay looked good.  always thought of modding some so they look more like the tv counterparts but dared not.

I have a whole box of them from the 80's from when i was a kid.  I don't even know what's all in there, but they aren't mint, as they were played with, although most are in pretty good shape.  I know i have all the dinobots, and those green contructicons that made a huge robot when you put them together.  I have a bunch of planes and cars too.  And a few of the transforming cassettes and the big robot the cassettes went inside of, the blue one.  I might be interested in trading some of them for some arcade stuff if you have anything.

I am the same as 2pacman as I have a box from when I was a kid. I sold my Gijoe last year and heman. Mine our in played-in condition, some better then others. I would sell them. I can take a picture of them if you would like. From memory I have:

Constructicons
Snarl
Slag (rip-off)
Starscreem
??? (The purple one I can't remember the name)
Hound
Jetfire (big ass jet)

About 10 others I think. I will have to get them out. I will give you a pic. PM me if interested.

Do you open them?

Heck, yes!  What's the point of having a toy in a box that I just look at?  I have them in various poses on my computer desk.  I eventually would like to make a display case for them, as they get dusty quickly.

I got a heck of a deal on that one, so I decided to do the chest mod.  Thought it would sell for more, one went on the 'Bay for like $50!

oh man...

although i think i'm on the younger side as i'm just 21, but i used to have boxes of heman, transformers, gijoes, star wars...the good old days.  i probably still have mine in boxes, but their pricelesss to me, unless they're worth thousands.  then i'd be willing to part with them.

sorry, just doing the time machine thing.

i even remember that hairy heman toy.  couldn't tell you which one it was, but it was crazy fuzzy.  made me uncomfortable.  i think he was green.

i never seen one in person but there was a he man figure that could be rearranged thought that was cool.

i really dont have anything to trade with and as for costs i was looking for something affordable though for the sound of it everyone has the good stuff which is out of my price range unfortunately.

i always wanted to make really in depth battle scenes with mine especially my gi joes (not the 12 inch figures the 5 1/2 i think) but then i dont have room for a massive display with terrain and buildings and the vehicles.

good to know that im not the only one that has not and never will grow up.

@Flinkly:  im 18 and your right id never part with my stuff.  my friends think im crazy for not selling my stuff at one of there yard sales he even asked me which stuff he should sell of his though my collection would put him to shame.  all he had was some batman action figures unopened and trucks (some metal).

anyone ever play with mighty max?  damn you people now you've got me started.
