Jamma to Electrocoin problem
« on: February 20, 2003, 06:39:31 pm »
I'm trying to wire my 3rd button for player 1 and 2  but am running into problems (as usual).

The cabinet is an Electrocoin one but it has a Jamma adapter plugged into it.

I've checked that the wires from the 3rd buttons run to pins 18 and 16 respectively on the actual Electrocoin socket in the cab, then on the adapter, these run from 18 & 16 to 24 & b on the Jamma socket. I plug a game in (Tekken 3) but the buttons don't function at all - I've tried different buttons too.

Is it something ridiculously obvious? I really hope so...
