MS Pac Coin Door Slot...
« on: March 03, 2006, 11:55:49 am »
I have a MS PACMAN cocktail, and there is a piece missing off the coin door...it's a little metal cover that goes over the coin slot...
Anyone know where one of these can be purchased??

Thanks,

Matt

I think you're very unlikely to find one of these Matt.... Unless you spot one on ebay as New Old Stock.  I doubt that they're still being manufactured.

You could try posting a wanted thread in the Wanted and For Sale section on here. Somebody might have a spare.

Most bottles and jars contain at least twenty-five percent recycled Pacman.
And research indicates that Space Invaders are strongly attracted to people who have recently eaten meat pies.

Well the good news is that these coin doors were made by a third party and sold to Midway, who then added on their logo plate. So that means you don't necessarily need to find a Midway coin door to find the slot insert.

Unfortunately, I gave away a junker spare I had, many months ago.

Hey here's one: http://cgi.ebay.com/Bally-Midway-Video-Game-Coin-Door_W0QQitemZ6257711183QQcategoryZ13718QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Another: http://cgi.ebay.com/Midway-Coin-Door_W0QQitemZ6257726338QQcategoryZ13718QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Don't buy this one. I think it's for Space Invaders: http://cgi.ebay.com/MIDWAY-ARCADE-STYLE-VIDEO-COIN-DOOR-NO-COIN-MECH_W0QQitemZ6256500764QQcategoryZ13718QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

NO MORE!!

I have a plastic one for the midway coin door. I just bought a whole door, just to get 2 of the metal ones. Let me know if you need it.
