Trackball Help!!
« on: March 03, 2006, 02:06:23 am »
Howdy,

Trying to wire a Betson 3" trackball using a mouse hack.  I have studied all the guides, and I have a PCB here that I can't seem to find.  It is a Microsoft mouse, but different in the there are only 4 resistors on the board, labeled R1, R2, R5, and R6.

The optical parts are no problem, and neither is the red wires for +5V, but I can't seem to find where I would attach the black wires from the trackball.

Any help would be appreciated.

James

James,
I have a spare PS/2 Betson trackball harness I can give to you for what I paid for it. It comes with the 2 optic boards wired to the PS/2 harness. The swap out would take oh, about 2 minutes. It would be like $15 to your door. E-Mail me at arcadesrfun@hotmail.com
