3 player control setup
« on: March 01, 2006, 01:50:32 am »
Hey,

was looking at 4 player, but too much clutter for the size...

Using Lusid's cabinets dimensions, I have devised 3 controls.  Middle one for one player, and then if 2-player, uses the two outside controls.  For three obviously all are used.

Question.... this setup attached uses 29 inputs, and KeyWiz MAX has only 32 available... I would also like Pause, 1/2/3 start and coin.   Has anyone got any suggestions on how I can do this?

Thanks

Nick

Most encoders have a "shazzam" key that will allow you to press 2 buttons at once and achieve a different keystroke.  They also have simple harnesses that will allow you to use a single button to simulate pressing 2 buttons at once.

This is nice, because it also allows you to keep some admin buttons off your panel to save clutter, and to keep a more authentic look.
