I might go - depends on if I can squeeze it into my schedule. Sounds great from the description. I almost forgot all about this!

I think I'm going to this one.  I love pins and didn't even know a show like this one existed so close to home.

Hopefully I'm over this lousy cold by then :P

Dagg,  Its a show with all the games on freeplay.

However,  A lot of these pins and games will probably have a for sale sign on them...so if your interested, you can always pick one up.

Also, they will have a vendor or two that will be bringing "un-shopped'  games for sale.    You may be able to pick up a nice cabnet for mame.. or get a good deal on a game that you can fix later.

I do not believe there is any "auction"  scheduled.   Usually at these shows there are no auctions... and if there is  (very very rare) ,  its genrally very small in comparison to a true 'coin op auction'. (IE: only a few select games for auction)

RandyT,   this is the frist one in the upstate ny area.   Most are in PA and beyond.   Hopefully this will be a great show with good turnout so that next time will be evven bigger and better...  and so I wont have to drive to PA again : )

Sorry to hear about your cold.   Btw- Im not Anti-RandyT.   I may have differing opinions.. but definitely not anti.    Will probably see ya  there.

Ohh, and if you want to get rid of that cold ultra fast,  grab a package of "Cold Eaze"..   Its almost like a miricle..  and will cut your cold time in half,  and even clears a soar throat.   Ive recomended it to several at work, and all have had great results with it.

I've been toying with the idea of going, but most likely won't make it due to scheduling issues ... SB auction, kids' birthdays, RealLife(tm).

Would have been fun and would have liked to meet RandyT ... hopefully will be a great success and I'll have more luck scheduling next year.

Cheers.

Thanks for the tip.  I'm still not sure about attending, but if I do, I'll be sure to look for folks I recognize.

Not this one. Too much like work.  This one will be a research mission, but maybe next time.  I wonder if a pinball machine will fit in an Expedition.....:)

I was wondering the same thing myself.  Unfortunately, I was still too sick to attend.

I can't wait to hear about all the cool stuff I missed :P

I thought it was pretty good for a 1st time show.   One vendor brought several top notch pins in great working order to play.

There were a lot of vids there to play as well as pins.

Lots of nice deals to be had, as prices on many things were pretty decent.

Was nice that most pins were in great working order.   Many shows Ive been to where the pins have major problems here and there.  Most the videos worked great too.

I think it was worth it just to get to actually Play the worlds largest pinball machine " Hurcules ".   A bit slow moving, but still was pretty cool : )

The other game I found interesting was a pinball called " Medusa".  The artwork on that pin is just plain cool.  And, it played nice too : )    Usually, Im not into the older style pins as much, but I think id be happy to own that game.

Got to play an old  EM  gun game.  Some sort of safari game.  Pretty cool to see those in action again : )

Played the new stern pin, but alas, like most sterns pins, I wasnt really that impressed.  (More like depressed.  :P   )

There was a pretty good crowd.. but it wasnt so busy that you couldnt play anything.  Very short, to 'no' wait times.

They gave away a  Slot machine, and a pinball machine too.

A little sad that there wasnt a big load of pinball parts available.  Seems the vendors were a little shy this time arround.

The show got good reviews on the newsgroups.

While it wasnt really comparable to the PA show,  for a first time show, it did very well.

It should be even better next year : )
