I will offer asking price, if I think it's fair. Sometimes I am surprised at just how fair an asking price can be. This was one of those times.

If I understand it right, Nostrebor offered the guy $75 for the Star Castle which is what he has it listed for:

i have the two games above, unfortunately though either my wife or my kid neither one is fessing up backed something into the front of the star castle in the garage, cracked the particle board on the very front in two places, repairable, but cracked. did not hurt the sides, did not damage the coin door or the control panel..

Just to be clear.

I offered him the asking price for the SC, if he did not sell the games as a group. I was more than willing to let him close the package deal with someone else, if he could get that done. My offer was to be a fallback position, and I offered to pay in full, in advance.

i stated 75.00 in my post i will stick to it, but i am not selling off piece by piece until the ad has been up for awhile, i want to sell all three or four pieces together, i live in a rural community anyway, didnt really think anyone would drive clear to bum fuk egypt for one game for 75.00, i dont really know why i am considered a bad seller when i havent even sold anyhting yet, no money has changed hands, i did not rip anyone off nor did i send anyone a box of rocks, WTF. I have over 300 feedbacks on ebay, i consider myself a good seller, i apologize if i have stepped on anyones toes, but nostrebor emailed some comments off the board that didn't set too well with me and my reasoning therefore not to do business with him, thats MY CHOICE, if he wishes to vent his frustrations on the forum i have no problems with that, but everyone shouldn't be soo quick to place judgement.

2 reasons.

1. I have tried to deal with you on this cabinet twice. The first time you hedged telling me that the front was damaged, then got bent out of shape when I wanted to pay a bit less because of the damage. Then you basically lied to me, telling me it was sold. Time passes by, and you post it for sale again, with no mention of the damage, on BYOAC. I considered ignoring it, until you lowered the price to $75. Then I decided to give you the benefit of the doubt. Maybe you were having a bad day or something before when we were dealing. Well, you decide that you'll just raise the price... I figure that it is worth my time to let others know that you are jacking around with me on this thing.

2. I am an established member of BYOAC. You can do a search of my posts and see that I am very much against poisoning a BST thread, but 2 times we try to deal, and 2 times you dance. I have peers on there that need to know that.

I was more than willing to let you have the opportunity to sell your games as a group. Said it in my first mail. I just wanted a shot at the game at the publicly asked price, if you chose to go the seperate route. Simple. You chose greed, over integrity.

I will be more than happy to discuss this with you on the forum in public, if you prefer. I will not post details of our email exchange without your consent. I will share this story privately with any potential buyer that asks. I owe that to my community forum members, of which many have helped me out in the past with no greed attached.

I sincerely hope that you sell all your games, and make money doing it.

You said you would MAME it first, or pass it to a neighbor. Then you maild me saying it was sold. I just assumed your neighbor had it No harm done.

You offer it up for sale again, lower the price to a great deal, I offer to pay asked price if you will hold it until I move. You raise the price. I say well that sucks, and thanks but no thanks. I'm trying to figure out what I did to make you not like me? So far it has simply been trying to do business with you.

You need to learn some tact and realize that lowballing and lower offers are a normal part of forum selling.  It ALWAYS happens.  You show some restraint, counter offer, or outright decline and move on.  There is no need to attack someone because they offered less than you were asking.  I hope you never have a garage sale, you'll probably get arrested for stabbing someone for offering you a nickel for something you wanted a buck for.

If you don't want to deal with negotiations, stay off forums.  You'll never just sell everything you have at list price.  It doesn't happen that way.  Most people actually ENJOY the haggling part of the deal on forums.  If you don't like it, go back to eBay.

I'll tell you most of the problem.  You come off like a complete ass.  You posted above that after throwing the pics up, you were pissed no one bought them after you put so much effort into it.  You also put a retarded link post on klov saying you're too lazy to post the details.  That combined with you just flat out disrespecting Dave, is the asshat trifecta. 

This combination of stupid moves has labeled you.  You are the guy who will show up in the software forum, cry like a ---smurfette--- that you can't get mamewah to work and when someone tries to help you out, you'll get pissy because they didn't come over and personally fix it themselves.  You know what, go get your head out of your ass(see asshat trifecta), try to kiss ass a little on here, and maybe you'll be welcomed with open arms.  In the meantime, stop trying to save face in this thread, sit the hell down, and relax.  You have wronged a member in very high standing here and your attitude comes off a little arrogant.  We need nothing from you, you are here because you need something from us.
