IPAC2 shift function stopped working?
« on: February 13, 2006, 05:50:52 pm »
I wired up my control panel last week and everything ran fine right from the start, even the shift functions.. Then I didn't turn it on for a couple of days, moved the cabinet and today the shift functions aren't working at all. Any ideas why this might be? Pressing P1 and P2 start together should work as ESC, it doesn't work, but the P1 and P2 buttons work just fine on their own which is strange. I checked my wiring and everything seems to be fine and I haven't touched it since I first wired it up so I'm not sure why its not working. I have a few extra buttons on the front of the panel that I might reconfigure as ESC but would like to figure this out first if I can. Thanks.

My IPAC does weird stuff too sometimes.  All I do is run the command line utility and "Reboot" it and things work again.

Open a command prompt
- Type 'copy con' and hit return
- hit ctrl-alt-p
Then hit the key to reset the IPAC.  Can't remember what it is right now but it will say on the screen.
