I was hacking a circuit board over the weekend and wherever there was a wire connection to the board, the connection was covered with this yellow-y opaque sticky insulator stuff. I had to remove it to do the rewiring (sort of just peeled off with a little work).
But now I need some more to put back on.
The connections are very small and very close and the wires will get movement.
I've seen the
liquid electrical tape, but that's not it. It's not black, and it sounds like the black stuff is hard to remove.
Any thoughts??
[wait... could it have been rubber cement? Could I use this as an insulator on some switch wires?]
