Took me a second to catch it, but look at the second picture.

Good lord that cab is overpriced. Funny pic though.

Never mind the kid what about the Gorilla! LOL

Most bottles and jars contain at least twenty-five percent recycled Pacman.
And research indicates that Space Invaders are strongly attracted to people who have recently eaten meat pies.

I'm not so sure I would want that machine if its been out in the snow :)

so long as they treated the sf2 one a bit better it would be worth a buy at the right price of course

I've seen this guys auctions discussed on RGVAC and the general consensus is that he puts a ridiculously high BIN price and then takes best offer.

Yep!  He did that with a few of his classics he's had before.

You guy's aren't seeing the forest through the trees...

I once contacted the seller of a "ridiculous" auction like this. In fact I contacted him because he kept relisting and relisting this crappy conversion cabinet over and over for over a YEAR.

Well after the seller responded, it all made sense. Here's a hint: Take a careful look at the CONTENTS of the listing, and especially at the photographs. Maybe then you'll understand some of the motivations of this seller's tactics.

This is going to get me all fired up now.  I was driving to lunch one day and went past that store.  The Space Invaders was out in the rain.  I stopped by to see what kind of loser puts a Space Invader case out in the rain.  I asked if they had any other empty classic cabs.

He said they have a bunch of empty cabs they would sell, "they usually go for $500".  I laughed and left.  That Space Invaders cab was not in bad condition... of course the rain ruined it.  What an insult to people who actually like arcade machines.

I live in the area too and stopped by his store.  Way overpriced on all his items.  The condition of the games is not very good either.  He has some items I'd love to buy, but he needs to be realistic.  I asked the kid running the store that night if they SHOPPED the pinball games before they sell them, and he said no we know what to sell them for.  Like the previous guy, I laughed and then left the store.

Not to mention his lack of a high school education is showing in his ad.  This guy needs to buy a grammar checker and enable 'cap the first line of a sentence'.
