HOW the HELL did that happen?  Doesn't he sell them with a buyout?

Sheeshus.

I thought 100$ for my spinner was high (or 80 or what not...)

I couldn't believe it went that high...   He didn't have a buy now option on it...guess because he said he only found a couple that he didn't know he had.

With that kind of price plus what a Star Wars yoke goes for and new SNK rotaries, etc. maybe I should sell my collection and retire...:).

Its obvious he is not going to put a buy it now option on the push pull spinners. He only has a few left so he knows they will go for alot of benjamins. BUT, yes I am thinking of myself here, it does not allow other people to purchase them. 400 for a spinner is nuts. My wife would divorce me. Figures discs of tron was one of my favorite games and now I will never be able to play it like in the arcade. Oscar if you are reading please sell me one for what you were selling them for :) PLEASE. pm me.

He only has one more.  My guess is that there will never be any more.  I bought one in B/S/T for $135 last year including the mousehack and knob.  That is looking like a really good deal now.

Just don't do it planning to sell them for $300+ because if they did that for long every Tom & Joe including myself would be making them...

You're welcome  ;).  Didn't that seem like a lot of money at the time?  I paid $135 (including shipping) for it all when I got it from Oscar (Kelsey) and it seemed like a lot of money.  Then I didn't get it in a cabinet and it seemed like everyone wanted one, so I sold it for what I paid.  When I sold it, $135 (plus shipping) still seemed like a lot of money.

Here's the problem, that market is very small.  Sure, there will be a few people that buy them, but then Oscar is stuck with the remaining inventory for a long time.

What kills me is that when we were selling them, the push/pull sales were so weak it was almost a no brainer when he decised to pull the plug on them.  I think I only sold 2 or 3 in Canada.  Now the vortex V2...that looked like it was going to be a big hit.

I just used my last vortex on the cocktail I just built.  I hate to think that I'll be building future cabinets with slickstick stuff.  :sigh:  Ah well, whatcha gonna do?

Another major "gizmo" maker will probably be releasing a spinner sooner than later.

It's a mini cab and it's going to be very cool.  I should put it in the project announcements so I can more suggestions for the sides.  The size and complexity of my ideas don't correspond to my available free time.

There's always the Cyclone, which is what I think I'll be using for my next spinner project.

Cheers.
