Anyone know of good places in the UK to get plexi by the sheet?.

Seems there's a reasonable amount of places to get everything else but local hardware places like B&Q don't seem to sell it.
I didn't touch it....honest!

Thanks for the reply. Didn't realise they did any at all. I asked in our local one (Thurrock) and the guy didn't have a clue what I was talking about.

That said, he was in his 30's and working at B&Q so perhaps its worth having another look.

Hi Trucker.
I get mine from a glass cutting place.
Most big Towns have a glass shop, just look in the Yellow Pages under glass.

Cheers buddy.

Almost all branches of B&Q, Homebase, and Wickes sell Plexiglass but they call it Acrylic glass. It's one of the few items useful to arcade cab builders that they do sell.

I was just lazy! I was in there buying MDF and just bought the cheapest! It's good for covering the control panel and making a marquee sandwich but could do with some thicker stuff for the screen.
