Two long white leaf-buttons needed!
« on: February 14, 2003, 02:50:23 am »
Hi there!

Still have problems to get the leaf-buttons I need.
For playing pinball-games on my mame-cab, I'm desperately seeking for two of the long white leaf-buttons, which aren't as bright as Happ's microswitch-ones.

I painted my selfmade-cab in Centipede-white, and at least the old white leaf-buttons (like used in Xevious) match this color perfectly. The Happ-ones look rather ugly on this one, plus it isnt't that fun to beat them like you'd do on a real pinball!

Anyone have two of them or can help?

Bob Roberts carries them but I can't vouch for the shade of white.
If you build a frankenpanel, chances are I don't care for you as a person.

Yep, I've seen them there - that was the first time that I noticed they were also made in "snow-white". Indeed, this is much to bright for my special needs, he has a picture of them somewhere on his parts-list.

I very likely have what you are looking for. I have a storage unit filled with hundreds of buttons (both varieties). I just need to look through them and find the color you are looking for. I will check tomorrow afternoon when I visit the storage unit and reply to you via PM if I have them or not.

Do you care if they are used ... some of my older leaf-style buttons came out of games and are not new. On the other hand, I may also have some new ones. I just need to check for you.

P.S. If you need anything else, let me know.

Hey MilitiaMan,

sounds great! Hope I'm lucky.

I don't care that much if they are used or not - they only need to be long and not that superbright snowwhite! :)
