WinCab Font size????????????????
« on: February 08, 2006, 09:25:47 pm »
This may be a dumb question, but how do I increase the font sizes in wincab? I'm running on a CGA monitor at 640x288 and the font size is way too small.

Thanks!

First off, you'll want to make sure you're using one of the skins designed for low-resolution displays like low-res.skn.  That may solve your problem; if it doesn't, edit the .skn file with a text editor.  To change the size of the fonts on the displays, reduce the number of lines for that display; to change the font size on the title strips, change FontSize and SmallFontSize.

TEXT ORDER...

Chris,

Is it possible to swap the order of the Title and group on the CD covers? For example, the CD's are sorted by author

ABBA
Alan Parsons
Beatles
Etc

But... when you look at the CD title I see

0001     Tales of Mystery and Imagination
             Alan Parsons Project

can these be swapped (without releasing your source code)? So it would read:

0001      Alan Parsons Project
              Tales of Mystery and Imagination

I would like the Exact opposite change in the now playing window.

To me... I would like to see the Song / Album / Author (Most specific to most general) but currently the playlist shows Song / Author / Album.

Could these be put in separate skinable blocks or is it too much work?

If you need some C coding done you could copy a small section to me and I could make the changes and send it back. I know... I know... asking for someones source code is like asking them for the use of their toothbrush or sister (it is just not done!)  but ... I feel like a shmuck asking for custom changes on freeware.

Yeah, you're right, that should be selectable; I've swapped them a few times myself.  I'll try to get that in the next version.
