I miss building a cabinet and playing on mine
« on: February 08, 2006, 05:45:03 am »
My harddrive crashed on my cabinet two months ago and I'm months away from building my next one.  I'm working on a jukebox, but I just checked out the mameworld forums, and it all came back on me in a rush. :(  I keep reminding myself that dual monitor support and the LEDWiz are not quite there yet(very close) for usability for me, so that is keeping me calm.

I have a few dozen 2.2 gig drives at the office.  If you attach 40 or so of 'em, you'll be back in business.  I'll call FedEx now...

You know, those small drives are difficult to find these days and they're very useful for people planning DOS based cabs (you could fit a full 0.36 rom set on there and all the trimmings). If you're not planning on using them maybe you should put a post in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum.
