Command Cubes - The Only Jukebox Software for Home Networks
« on: February 07, 2006, 02:46:54 pm »
Added this to the sticky list but wanted to post it since I don't think I've seen it mentioned here before.  I've been using this software for a long time and it really rocks.  Has every feature I've seen mentioned here and the support is great as well.

Personally I'm not a fan of the interface. It doesn't appear that you can browse by album cover. Itseems to have to much of a windows explorer look to it.

I always want to look by artist name but that's just me.

But the great thing about it is they are always releasing new versions.  And if you post an idea on their forum, you'll get a response from the main developer within a day.  THey've included a lot of things that I've posted weren't working well and such.

I know they are in a big rewrite now but I don't know what the end result will be.

Just found out that the same guy that makes the TouchTone program works on the COmmandCubes program.  But CC is made more as a client/server environment than just a stand along system.  The album art view and such is all in the works for CC's version 2 which is in Beta Testing right now.
