Jamma sound question
« on: February 07, 2006, 10:53:56 am »
So everything in my cab is working except for the sound.  I have the 2 mono speakers (I assume) that I want to hook up.  I know that I cannot directly connect these to the jamma harness because I need an amplifier.  Since I know nothing about these, what should I be looking for?  I don't want to buy some overkill amp.  How much would something like this cost?  I assume they would have them at Fry's?

All JAMMA gameboards have an amplifier on board already and drive speakers directly.

for basic sound go and buy the cheapest set of pc speakers you can find

for good sound get a basic 2.1 sound systemand run it direct from your sound card.

my cab has a creative (cambridge labs) speaker system in it and that sounds brilliant, not allowed to give it more than 15% volume though  :(
