Neon Blue T-Molding?
« on: February 06, 2006, 02:33:48 pm »
Anyone know where I can get some? Does it even exist or would I need to buy something plain and then paint it?

I was also thinking about some kind of neon rope lighting if I can find any that's inexpensive.

No help on the T-Molding...

But eBay is the place to search for your neon glow string.

You can find decent prices, too.

Yeah, not sure glow string is what I'm after. From what I've seen it isn't very thick. I'd like something more like a flexible neon tube, say, 3/8-1/2" thick. Ideally though I'd like to figure out how to get neon t-molding.

I'm not sure how you'd fit this into traditional t-molding, but here's a link where someone used the aforementioned glow string to create moldable "neon" tubing:

Good luck!

Hey, that tower is pretty cool. I'm always amazed by what some of those PC modder guys come up with. There must be tons of ways that something like that could be used on a cab. You could even use flexible vinyl tubing instead the rigid acrylic (if you don't mind the flexibility).
