I've just picked up a couple of semi-working arcade cabinets.. one is a Pac-Land and the other some gambling game.. the Pac-Land is currently in labeled plastic bags in my house and the G07-CBO is awaiting me getting a cap kit

My dilemma is in 3 parts, but 1 is rather technical (I may have to post some questions at KLoV or ask Bob Roberts):
1.) (less technical) This machine was manufactured in 1982.. considering its age (and the fact that the guy I got it from is a smoker and had it in his garage for an unknown amount of time), would it be advisable to plop down @ $100 and get Bob Roberts to ship replacements for the majority of the electronics (iso transformer, RFI Filter, PSU, etc.), or should I just clean/derust, refloe, test (assuming I can test *all* this stuff with a digital multimeter), and continue to use what I can (not sure how long these parts were meant to last)?
2.) (not at all technical) What should I do with a machine like this (just looking for some opinions)?? I already have a 90% finished MAME machine and some plans/parts for my 2nd (and the cabinet is a bit confined for anything but a bare mobo).. but maybe this would make a good horizontal JAMMA/MAME combo cab? Can an Electrohome G07-CBO be mounted horizontal if I degauss it after mounting?
3.) (technical) If I do make this a JAMMA/MAME/both machine with an ArcadeVGA and J-Pac, should I perform Bob Roberts' G07 sync upgrade mod when I put on the cap kit? Also, can the control panel's molex connectors be routed to the J-Pac *and* the JAMMA harness without interfering with each other (so I can use the machine as a MAME/JAMMA cab)?
I have high hopes for this latest toy

.. but where can I get repro side/CP art for this clunker?

Pac-Land doesn't seem to be a popular one and the even the sideart I managed to save is faded and has a few small staple rips..
