Recently i bought a converted capcom vs marvel 2 cab at a arcade auction for a pretty decent price($350 woo!). After beating cvm more then a few times and trying out a few other late 80's beat em up jamma boards that I had lying around I hesitantly decided to convert it to a mame cab as that was the one main purpose in buying it in the first place. I kind of rushed into buying a few things from ultimarc without doing all the possible research I probably should have. I really want to make this both a jamma board and mame cab so i can readily switch between the two...only problem is....I bought a arcade vga and ipac...not a jpac. seeing as how the cabinet is already prewired should i have bought a jpac instead? also, i believe it was originally a street fighter 2 cab. it came with a vortek 27"(err or was it 25") do i need to up the amps for this monitor? i didn't think i would need to, but i might as well see what you guys think about it. although i probably didn't need to i bought a VGA Breakout Cable from ultimarc trying to make hooking up my monitor a slight bit easier as it sounds fairly difficult for a electronic dufus like myself. what are some pretty good ways to permanently change the windows resolution so my monitor doesn't explode randomly while booting up windows and my frontend? ok, phew, i know thats alot of questions, but as my ultimarc stuff starts to get closer on it's shipping route i'm getting more and more nervous about actually hooking the damn thing up without breaking something.
any help with any of these questions will be GREATLY appreciated.
