Karaoke question about Voice out?
« on: February 03, 2006, 08:59:37 pm »
Looking for software that will put a delay/echo in your voice.  I have some Karaoke software but I can not find a microphone control option.  So I was hoping that someone could recommend some software that will add the delay/echo... or maybe even some better Karaoke software.

TIA
Don

I use some software called Guitar FX, it offers all manner of effects as it basically designed to replace guitar foot pedals. You'll have to google up the site though as i don't have it to hand.

Hi

Try karafun their software is free and the best program I've found to use for Karaoke, I think it has an echo on it. However I have never used the echo on it myself as I run it though hardware to get echo and keychanges etc.....

I tried the software out and the delay setting delays the song.    Makes it sound real funky..  thanks for the suggestion tho..

Buy a Karaoke mixer if your really into it. I have a VocoPro mixer it has everthing you want plus key change. I tried pc key change karaoke software but they just sped up or slowed down the song in order to change the key.
