Hey guys i got a price quote from a company that has 4x8 sheets of the real speaker grills that you see on showcase cabinets and automotive cars and such. They are only 11 a sheet but minimum order is 35 sheets. So I'm wondering if people would be interested in purchasing sheets of this?

let me know what you think. I may do a big order of em.

Stainless? I'd take one if the shipping didn't make it prohibitive.  Where are you?

PA

and here is what it looks like, although the ones i will order will have small holes

Also what Could I use to put behind this Mesh to hide the speaker? I was thinking something like that black filter foamy stuff they use in between Pc case and Fan? But where can I get sheets of this stuff my Speaker size on my showcase cabinet is like 10 x 36

I think the reason one might use this type of material is so that you can see the speaker behind it.

But if you really want to cover it up, go to a fabric store and buy some sheer, black Rayon material.  You want some that is so thin you can easily see light through it but can't make out details.  When you put it between the grill and your speaker, it will appear solid black, but won't affect the sound.

It's hard to get a sense of scale for that but the holes look big.  I'd prefer something like this size:

edit:  nevermind, just noticed your statement about the holes being smaller.

WOWOWOWOWOWOW

Funny... I've been wanting some metal sheet like that to use for my kickpanel and to put behind my metal sideart as a vent. I'm guessing shipping will be a ton, but I may be interested anyway.  How thick is it?

Can it bend some?

I would be interested in one if I could bend it.
Do you have any idea on the price? (for shipping or just one sheet)

Thanks,
Jon
