MAME Arcade Machine For Sale - Chicago
« on: February 12, 2003, 12:51:04 am »
I'm selling a MAME arcade machine. I took me over six months to build it. The cab is a Galaga cabinet and the mechbox is the original one. The entire cabinet was painted black. There is an IBM 19-Inch monitor with a black bezel and plexiglass over it. There are two-player controls consisting of two joysticks, two player select buttons, and 12 action buttons.

AdvanceMenu boots up in DOS and allows you to select the games. It is full set up with the video and sound card.

The sound system consists of two JBL speakers integrated into the cabinet (you cannot see them) and there is are volume/tone controls near the speakers.

There is a MAME marquee and behind it is a flourescent light from Happ controls.

Also all of the controls are from Happ Controls.

I don't have a picture of the arcade at this time but I will have them by the end of the week.

The computer consists of an 800Mhz Duron, 256MB of memory, 32MB NForce Video, 4GB Hard Drive.

I'm taking offers, at this time the selling price is $2,000.

P.S. - There are extras that I will include with the purchase.

oh, in case anyone is wondering, I'm selling this because my Mustang GT's automatic tranny got fried and I need to get a new one ASAP.

Also, the hard drive is clean except for the roms. All you do is drop the roms in the "roms" folder and you're good to go.
