FS in Michigan: HUGE empty Space Lords cabinet
« on: January 24, 2006, 11:21:07 pm »
Hey all. I have a Space Lords cabinet available in Michigan. It's a HUGE cabinet that originally had two 25" monitors in it. There's pretty much nothing left on this cabinet but the marquee and a some wiring, but I thought somenoe might want it for a mame cabinet or whatever. It's pick-up only. Here's a picture of what the cabinet would look like (gutted obviously, but this KLOV pic should give you an idea of its size). Make an offer. I'm just getting rid of it for an arcade.

Shame I'm not closer - that would make a great networked 2 player pc station for playing Doom, Unreal, etc...

I'm close enough.. but boy my wife would leave me if I got it.

plus... not sure if I could get it in my house... let alone the basement.

Might make a cool 1 horizontal 1 vertical cab... but a  2 player racing cab would also be really cool.

Aw man, are you the guy that parted that thing a few weeks ago on ebay?  I've been looking for a full one for so long.....

You know the really sad part of my story, two weeks before I started looking for one (which I was willing to pay $800 for) one sold on ebay, 20 min from my house for $300.  Never came up again...

Someone please save the old Space Lords cab.  I had so much fun playing it with my 3 best friends...

Me and a friend did sell the parts from it, but that was sometime last summer. I don't see the cab going anywhere immediately and I'd like to see someone make use of it. The arcade manager does want it gone though.
