Joystick problem

Hi,
I was wondering if anybody has every tried/has any ideas on how to extend a joystick. Everything on my current setup is fine, but I would like to get the end of the joysticks farther up off of the control panel.

You mean make them "taller"? How are they mounted now? Top mounted or bottom mounted? Is the bottom routed out? What joysticks do you have?

Yeah, to make them taller. The bottom isn't routed out, but I don't really want to do that. I used wood screws to mount it from the bottom. They are the same as the Happs Super Joystick.

This might be your best option:

You can replace the shafts with the adjustable ones from RandyT listed above.

Thanks for the link. Right now, I'm looking for more of a homemade solution, but I may go with that if I can't figure anything else out.
