Ipac and Optipac questions
« on: January 23, 2006, 01:21:20 am »
Hi,

In my computers bios it has a setting where you can turn the computer on by pressing the right mouse button.  I have an optipac and a usb cable for it. If i connect a button to the right mouse button connection on the optipac will i be able to turn the computer on by pressing this button, just as if i had pressed the right mouse button??

Also i have a button on my arcade control panel for exit game. Now in some of my emulators you have to press the "esc" button to exit the game. Am I able to hook up my exit game button to the optipac and this will cuase it to use the "esc" button??

Thanks in advance

Should be able to, never tried that for sure.

Not on the opti-pac (unless you can program the emulator to exit on mouse clicks, MAME will allow this), but you could with the I-PAC. . .
