Happ Trackball STOPS!
« on: February 10, 2003, 05:02:52 pm »
I am running Windows Xp and a Happ Trackball with ps2 interface (regular mouse cord connector) It works for a while then stops when I move a file etc.! Freezes up. Anyone else had this trouble? If I dont open a file or explore anything, the cursor (trackball) works fine for over an hour, and apparently forever, but if I DO anything it freezes, windows XP still works, not crashed, but the mouse freezes! Anyone know why? I checked and rechecked the pcb connection on the interface and tightened the connectors but STILL it will freeze up if I do anything. Is this a short or something? Is this Crapp --I'm attempting to get by the auto-censor and should be beaten after I re-read the rules-- Windows XP problem? TIA!!

No I have the trackball as the only mouse. And it dies, If I pull the plug and unhook the trackball completely at the port and put a regular mouse in, the regular mouse works fine, but if I switch again still no trackball.

Have you tried a different mouse driver?
