FOR SALE: Space Encounters (Invaders) parts, boards and #2107 RAM chips/sockets

I have the following stuff for sale cheap ..... make me an offer:

The following parts come from a Space Encounters machine which has been parted out:

1) One Motherboard (I was told was working but resets after a few seconds).  I was told this motherboard will work with Space Invaders with the correct ROM set.

2) Three Daughterboards (I was told all were working)

3) Three Sound boards (one of the boards I was told had scratchy sound, the other two are unknown)

4) One Midway Power Supply (was working, but when I removed the board my thumb pressed against a resistor and broke it off.  I marked the resistor on the power supply board and it should be a very easy fix)


I have the following parts from the actual Space Encounters cabinet:

5) Strobe light and associated big RED light bulb.   No idea whether the strobe light works, but the RED lightbulb came on when the game powered up.   I will try to pack the lightbulb nicely for shipping if you want it.

6) I still have the yoke mechanism (and boards which go on that) as well.   Let me know if you need any parts from the yoke.


Here are the RAM chips and sockets I have:

7) 26 NEW #2107 ceramic RAM chips.  I got these at www.arcadechips.com for $1.40 each plus shipping.   These are the hard-to-find ceramic chips used on Space Invaders, Space Encounters, Boot Hill, Gunfight, etc .... Any of the 2 board sets (motherboard and daughter board) which join each other at a right angle will utilize 14 or more of these chips.  I will make you a deal, so make me an offer....

8 ) 25 NEW RAM sockets (to fit the #2107 Ram chips above).


** A complete set of "Space Encounters" boards include a motherboard, daughter board, power supply and sound board.  As you can see from the boards listed above ..... I have a complete set in case someone is looking to restore their old machine.  I also have the #2107 RAM chips and sockets the motherboard uses as well.

I need to get rid of this stuff so I can clean out my garage.

Although I have described the boards and parts the best I can, I am offering them AS-IS.
