Any sugestions on how to get my TV in my cab to turn on with a Smartstrip, everything else works great, but the TV only turns off

Your t.v. itself is the problem I'm guessing.  Is the t.v. decassed?  If not, you could jam the power button in the on position.  This will make it so when it gets the power, it automatically comes on like everything else.  If it is decassed, just clamp down the power tab with something.  On one I did, I used a clothespin to keep it pressed in.  Hope this makes sense.  If not, try the search option.

I pushed the button in, stuck a toothpick in there and broke it off.  I stuck another in there too.

Never had an issue since.  :)

man...you guys are lucky...

my television shuts back off if i hold the power button in after about ten seconds...

i'm going to have to wire the power switch inline with my computer to have them both turn on at the same time...then let the smartstrip do the rest...
