Coin Mech when FrontEnd is active.
« on: January 20, 2006, 06:47:19 pm »
I have a coin mech from Ultimarc - one of the ones that keeps a coin in the back and compares inserted coins to it.

Im using ArcadeOS on top of DOS.

Currently, if i insert money while arcadeos is running, the coin mech takes the money - and, abviously, nothing happens.  This isnt a problem as its for home use, but has anyone come up with a way around this problem? - Other than an instruction sticker?

Everyone who plays the cab sticks some of the change on the side in it while the FE is running, and cant understand why nothing happens.

Simple.  It has been done before.  PM headkaze and ask for his CoinDrop program.

Read about it here:

Only problem is he's running DOS, and CoinDrop is a Windows program.
