wiring a Wico?
« on: January 19, 2006, 07:54:40 pm »
I just received the 4-way Wico NOS from Nicade and was wondering which terminal to use for ground and which for regular direction...I can't see any labels for common or positive

I have only ever used T-sticks and Happs which were microswitches

This joy does seem like it will be sweet for 4-way though.. ;D

thanks

A leaf switch should have only 2 terminals.  It does not matter what is hot or gnd as there are only 2 terminals to connect to.

so if you use the higher terminal for one, should I use the higher terminals for all 4 wires?

or doesn't it matter at all?

It doesn't matter, but it looks nicer if you use the same terminal on each switch.

Which is only important to those arrogant SOBs who lift up their CPs to show-off their wiring :P
